We’ve been working with various booking platforms over the years and continue to do so. They’re a great way to market a holiday home, but in response to ever challenging budgets, we felt it was important to offer a direct booking service so that we could pass on savings to you, our valued guests.   • You’ll find the latest availability here on this site as synchronised across all other booking platforms - meaning clear visibility of dates to suit your plans.

  • This site uses a trusted payment provider to process your credit/debit card when making a booking. Further details are available via the booking process.

  • As per other booking platforms, your booking is ultimately an agreement between you and us and we provide the same, standard terms, house rules and protections for your stay.

  • Direct bookings will benefit from better flexibility in terms of minimum/maximum length of stay and cancellation refunds.

Who We Are

For City breaks...

We’ve been operating in Oxford since 2017 having completed renovations at No3 and thinking, perhaps, with short term lettings (and the frequent cleaning involved) the place would stay in better nick. The ‘experiment’ clearly worked and having partnered now with a top-class housekeeping team who truly understand holiday lets it’s become a real success and enjoyable to run. 

For a Rural retreat...

Building from there, we decided to take on an altogether different property in Catcleugh Farmhouse, which was already operating as a holiday let. The idea being to return the former Duke of Northumberland’s hunting lodge back to its previous level of grandeur; blending traditional features with more modern styled comfort and creating the perfect rural getaway for friends and family to reunite, explore the National Park and be amazed by the Dark Sky nights.

Two very different places, in entirely different settings and in completely different parts of the country, but joined by our passion to provide a comfortable space for our guests to rest, relax and enjoy.
